Legislation
Providing guidance on legislative matters, detailed review of cabinet papers, oversight of executive activities and legislative changes among other things, will comprise of selected individuals from the Attorney General’s Ministry, Legal Counsel from the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management, and representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security & Enterprise.
Supporting the prediction, detection, prevention, control, and response to and rehabilitation from emerging, re-emerging, and endemic zoonosis, other public health events, and environmental challenges.

Integration
Advising, reviewing approaches and
specific studies relevant to reduce risk of zoonosis.
Policies
Develop, evaluate and implement policies aimed at strengthening One Health in Belize.
Strategy
Participate in the investigation of health threats and provide advice on the identification, detection, control, response, and recovery.
